Brian Drutman
BRIAN DRUTMAN is Vice President, Broadway & Soundtracks at Decca Label Group, and has supervised such recent cast recordings as How To Succeed In Business..., Shrek - The Musical, Spring Awakening, Monty Python's Spamalot (Grammy Award Winner), Wicked (Grammy Award Winner), The Boy From Oz, Seussical and Michael John LaChiusa's The Wild Party. As Producer of the Decca Broadway catalogue series, he has remastered and reissued over 100 classic Original Cast recordings including Annie Get Your Gun, Carousel, The Fantasticks, Guys and Dolls, The King and I, Man of La Mancha, Oklahoma! and Pippin. Mr. Drutman was honored by the television academy for his contributions to the Emmy-Award winning series, Broadway: The American Musical. He is a graduate of Brandeis University (B.A., French; History) and New York University's Tisch School of the Arts (M.A., Performance Studies). Brian is a member of the Tony Awards Administration Committee and sits on the Board of Trustees of the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center, the Players Foundation for Theatre Education and the Goodspeed Opera House Library and Theatre Archive. He recently helped establish Decca Theatricals, a Broadway producing company whose first venture was the musical The Addams Family.
