ALISON HARRIS is the Executive Director of The Westport Country Playhouse. For eight years Ms. Harris was the Managing Director of McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ, and prior to that was Administrator at Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, CT. Between leaving McCarter in 1987 and joining the Playhouse in 2000, Ms. Harris served as Assistant Treasurer, Legislative Director and in other capacities at the New Jersey Treasury Department. Most recently, Ms. Harris was the Director of Business Development for Ford Farewell Mills and Gatsch, Architects, a Princeton firm recognized for its award-winning theatre design. While at McCarter, Ms. Harris served on the boards of the Theatre Communications Group in New York, the League of Resident Theatres, and the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation in Baltimore.
