AARON SHAPIRO is the founder and has been managing partner of Shapiro and Lobel for over 40 years. During that time the firm has experienced enormous growth and achieved an international reputation in its representation of people in all aspects of the entertainment industry. Aaron graduated from Baruch College in 1949 and received his L.L.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1955. His alma mater awarded him honorary membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, the accounting honor society and bestowed upon him an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters. He has also been the recipient of the College's Alumni Achievement Award and the President's Medal. Aaron has served on various committees of the New York State Society of CPAs and has lectured and taught taxes at NYU Tax Institute and Fairleigh Dickinson University. Aaron is past president of the Baruch College Fund and is presently a trustee emeritus. He has also served as treasurer of the Paul Taylor Dance Company and is a founding member of the Bob Fosse Theatre Scholarship Fund.
